Currently as I am undertaking study in Internet Communications. In past units I have studied the attention economy and how getting attention on the web is one of the biggest elements when constructing your social media market strategy. There is an abundance of information on the Internet and getting a slice of attention is a battle which website and content creators are faced with everyday with the race to the top of the most hit list. Therefore, getting attention is a scarce commodity; it is now the new wealth of the Internet.
